Table Talk - June 2025

We started with tables. Now we’re beneath your feet.

Warm greetings,

We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you, seriously. Every message, every visit to the workshop, every photo you’ve sent of your furniture in its new home has kept us going.

That connection, that sense of meaning, it’s why we do what we do. And it’s exactly why we’re so excited to share this next chapter with you.

Introducing: West Coast Beech Flooring & Decking.

West Coast Beech Flooring

West Coast Beech Decking

It’s taken years to get here. Quiet progress. Listening. Testing. Learning from our furniture finishes, from the old church floors that inspired us, and from you, our community. We’ve been asked about flooring more times than we can count. We took our time. We wanted to do it right.

And now? It’s ready. Solid, stable, and full of character. Just like the trees it comes from.

Whether it’s inside your home or out on the deck, this is timber with a story. Sustainably harvested from continuous cover forests. Milled and dried on the West Coast. No clear-felling. No chemicals. Just good wood, done well.

What we’re offering:

  1. Tongue & Groove Flooring (for homes that deserve warmth underfoot)

  2. Relief-Grooved Decking (for outdoor spaces that age gracefully)

  3. Fully customizable sizing

  4. Matched finishes if you already have Innate furniture

  5. Honest guidance if you’re not quite sure what suits best

We’re not interested in pushing product. We’re here to help you make choices that last. So if you’ve been dreaming of timber beneath your feet, or if you just want to learn more, let’s chat. No pressure. Just people who care about doing things properly.

We’d love your thoughts, your questions, your feedback. It’s how we grow.

Thanks for helping us build something real.

We’re stoked to be walking this path with you.

Warmly,

Guido & Nick

Showcase Feature:

New Zealand’s Most Sustainable Bean Bags

EcoBeans, not Polystyrene

Bean bags are fun, versatile and yet, one of the least sustainable types of home furniture on the market.

Most often filled with polystyrene, a non-biodegradable material that takes thousands of years to decompose, bean bag production contributes to the microplastic problem existing within our lands and seas.

So, we found EcoBeans and became an official distribution partner.

Overall, they are fully compostable, meaning they are a zero waste option, with no toxic chemicals, EcoBeans are proven to be more durable, so they retain their spherical shape for longer, giving you a longer lasting product for years to come.

Explore our options today, with more shapes, sizes and colours coming next month:

At Home, With You:

Recycled Rimu Panels

“Constructed seamlessly and efficiently, these Rimu Panels I bought from Innate Furniture were handcrafted in the workshop here in Christchurch. As they were custom designed with exact measurements, the installation of these countertops in the kitchen was super smooth. Very pleased and excited to have them in my home”
